Our goals are simple:
Good food, Good Value, Good People, and a great time had by all!

Alligator Soul has been happily rooted here in Everett for more than a decade! The vision of Hillary "Hilbo" Craig - a transplanted Southerner and currently a top chef and restaurateur in Savannah, Ga. - Alligator Soul opened in the summer of 1995, bringing a New Orleans style joint to the Northwest.

We are proud to be a house notorious for good grub and great people. Alligator Soul offers a true slice of New Orleans style cookin' and Southern hospitality.

In February of 2005, Alligator Soul was purchased by Hilbo's brother-in-law, Rob Siegel and his managing partner, Chef Ryan Sturm.

We thank our loyal customers, musicians, vendors and contractors who have helped us rebuild Alligator Soul. A very special thanks to our Gator Club members for your enthusiastic support of our special events and charity fund raisers.

Proprietor Rob and Chef Ryan started the Gator Club to treat our special guests to some unique Gator Club meals and events, such as our BBQ 'n' Blues, Crawfish Boils and Chef's Tasting and Holiday menus. To join the Gator Club and receive the Gator Club letter, just fill out a Gator Club card with your email address - and don't worry, we only use your email to send our own Gator Club info - then join us for the next Gator Club event. There's lots of food, fun and music.

We hope to see you there,
Chef Ryan, Rob, and The Family at the Soul

Where Ya't Gator Club!

Greetings and fond hello to all of our beloved Gator Club Family! What a summer it has been. You know it's a good one when a pale kitchen dweller such as my self catches a tan this year! We have put together some fun and unique events this month for ya'll. Please enjoy the rest of your summer safely with a full belly and a wide grin.

*September 14th from 6-8pm Alligator Soul Cooking Class
First by popular demand and some serious begging from your fellow family members, I, Chef Ryan Sturm will be hosting the first of many Alligator Soul Cooking classes. Yes, you be forced to listen to me ramble for hours but the food and wine should help make it a bit more fun. We will be covering some cooking basics and a few recipes that impress with little stress or heart ache. The class is to be held at Alligator Soul in our kitchen on Sunday September 14th from 6-8pm. This is a kitchen not an auditorium so space is limited and guests will be asked to provide their $50 grubbin' and learning fee when calling to make your reservation. It will be a blast for us all at very least we will eat well that day. I will be doing more classes so please be patient if we can't fit everyone!

*Sunday September 28th 4-8pm Down Home Dinner
The growing legend that has become our Family Down Home Dinner! Simply put Grandma cooked up some rockin Pot roast and meatloaf but I think I can give her a run for her money. A truly soothing meal that covers a few of those great classics with a lil' Soul touch. One of the staff's favorite events. The meal will be three courses including salad, entree, and dessert of your choice for $24.95 that will fill your soul and give ya'll a chance to have a calm Sunday dinner with friends and family alike. Bacon wrapped meatloaf and apple brown betty is hard to resist!

We always appreciate your support and the opportunity to treat ya' right and give you a place for good food, good people, and a great time had by all!

With Love,
Chef Ryan and The Family at the Soul
